In her 7 years as a practitioner of Chinese medicine she has specialized in women’s health, neurological disorders, pain management, digestive issues and emotional distress. She greatly understands the impact nutrition has on the state of the mind and body and educates her clients in practicing preventive medicine through recommended dietary practices and herbal remedies. Her goals are to help people find physical and emotional relief, balance and empowerment through the reconnection of mind, body and spirit.
Her love for holistic medicine and determination towards helping others was born out of her own healing. Understanding that the mind plays an integral part in the healing process, she practices living a mindful life and incorporates meditation, yoga, breath work, Qi gong and prayer as daily practices. These help her to maintain a state of balance and well-being.
Jessica Tsing, MSAOM, L.Ac., MAcc. is a second-generation acupuncturist who is licensed and certified in the State of Texas by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Prior to her career in acupuncture she received her Masters in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas and worked in Dallas for a mid-size public accounting firm for four years before pursuing her passion in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She earned her Master’s degree in TCM at Texas Health and Science University as valedictorian of her graduating class.
Jessica’s interest in TCM came at a very young age while growing up in a family of Chinese medicine practitioners, including her dad, aunts, uncles and several cousins. Her holistic approach is aimed at individualized treatment to treat the person and not just the symptoms. That is why Jessica is passionate about TCM. She believes acupuncture promotes balance by stimulating the body’s innate ability to heal itself, thus improving quality of life.
